Built by an importer, not a software company.

Palleted was founded by Karim Zakour after years of importing products directly from manufacturers in China for his own distribution business in Montreal.

Like many small and medium-sized businesses, Karim experienced the same frustration repeatedly: factories required large minimum order quantities, even when businesses only needed a few pallets. That often meant tying up cash in excess inventory or paying substantially more through local distributors.

Before founding Palleted, Karim worked in Risk Management at PwC before building and operating his own Canadian import and distribution business. Through years of negotiating with factories, managing freight, inventory and distribution, he developed first-hand experience with the challenges businesses face when sourcing internationally.

That experience became the foundation for Palleted.

Our mission is simple: make sourcing from China as straightforward as ordering from a local distributor—without the hassle, without large MOQs, and with complete transparency.
